Abstract:
This study investigates the relationship between top management strategies and commitment, knowledge management, motivation, and performance perceived by Indonesian vocational high school teachers. Face validity and content validity index were utilized to evaluate the instrument. Partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) methods, measurement models, and structural models were employed to calculate the data analysis results (n.1353) using SmartPLS 4. The findings indicate that all hypothesized relationships were significant, with p-values of less than 0.05. The direct relationship between knowledge management and motivation was robust, following the correlation between motivation and performance. Top management strategies and commitment also strongly predict motivation and performance. Motivation was a successful mediator for knowledge management and top management strategies, and commitment in predicting performance. The findings of this study provide recommendations for improving teacher engagement and performance.
