Pituitary function in patients with primary and secondary empty sella

Empty sella (ES) diagnosis is increasing. Hormone deficiencies are common, especially in secondary ES, but risk of new deficiencies is low in patients with normal pituitary function at diagnosis, suggesting no routine follow-up is needed.
