Summary

Autoantibodies like atypical anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (a-ANCAs), anti-goblet cell antibodies (GAB), and anti-integrin αvβ6 show promise for diagnosing and monitoring ulcerative colitis (UC). Further research is needed to standardize detection and clarify their roles in UC.
