Digital transformation is a key indicator for strengthening health systems. The "Health Informatics and Digital Transformation" course is designed as a compulsory subject for Health Policy and Management graduate students to support their development as health leaders and managers. Using a qualitative analysis framework with a descriptive exploratory approach, this study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the role of health informatics in strengthening health systems. The analysis establishes a connection between students' competencies and the concepts they have gathered in their respective work areas (62% general digital skills, 22% technical digital skills, and 16% patient-doctor relationship skills). This study highlights how health informatics in education curriculum equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to understand and address challenges, while providing practical recommendations for digital health transformation.
