Abstract:
Building on our previous research on nurses' adoption and use of digital technology during the COVID-19 pandemic and guided by the Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management framework, we initiated a study to develop recommendations for including nursing digital capabilities for public health emergency preparedness (PHEP). While this study comprises three phases: 1) Identifying framework elements through case studies and a scoping review; 2) Conducting two e-Delphi survey rounds followed by an expert consensus meeting; and 3) Framework implementtaion, this paper reports on the development and content validation of the nursing PHEP digital capabilities framework statements.
