Prediction of BPSD Onset Using Multimodal Sensors: A Study on Dementia Patients in Long-Term Care

This study aims to predict the onset of Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD) using multimodal sensors, thereby improving dementia care. By analyzing behavior, sleep, and environmental data, we developed a predictive model to notify caregivers about the potential onset of BPSD, enabling timely intervention and reducing caregiver burden.
