Abstract:
Locomotive syndrome (locomo) is a condition in which mobility is impaired. As locomo increases the risk of falls and the need for nursing care, prevention among the younger generation is crucial regardless of age or gender. In this study, we focused on the prevention of reduced mobility and developed two training exercises similar to "squatting" and "standing on one leg" to increase lower limb muscle strength for university students who have no exercise habits, and a running game in which the player controls a character whose abilities change according to the results of these exercises. The study also found that visualizing fall risk enhances interest in the game. We will conduct experiments on behavior change using the running game and visualization of the risk of falling in the future.
