Abstract:
The Japanese Association for Medical Informatics (JAMI) has developed a comprehensive certification program for healthcare information professionals for over 20 years. This program consists of three certification levels: basic, entry, and advanced, with over 25,000 professionals certified as a healthcare information technologist and over 500 as a senior healthcare information technologist. These certified professionals play a crucial role in Japan's healthcare digital transformation, contributing to strengthening healthcare information infrastructure while maintaining their skills as they work across various healthcare institutions.
