Simultaneous Detection of Missing Amphibians and Their Fungal Pathogen in a Biodiversity Hotspot Using eDNA

Amphibian declines linked to the chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) are global. This study found evidence of Bd and recovering amphibian populations in Brazil, suggesting some species persist post-Bd pandemic.
