Percutaneous endoscopic transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (PETLIF) offers excellent fusion rates and clinical outcomes with less blood loss compared to minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (MIS-TLIF). However, PETLIF carries a risk of nerve root injury, necessitating careful technique.
