Abstract:
χ(2)-lens mode-locking of an in-band pumped Nd:LuVO4 laser using a periodically-poled KTiOPO4 crystal for phase-mismatched second-harmonic generation is demonstrated, achieving pulses as short as 1.6 and 7.5 ps at average powers of 0.7 and 4.6 W, respectively.
