Abstract:
The development of catalysts for photocatalytic reduction of CO2 is of great significance for addressing the excessive emission of CO2. In this study, we designed and synthesized a series of NiO/Bi2O3 composite nanoflakes and used them for photocatalytic CO2 reduction. Among them, Ni/Bi-30 exhibits the best CO2 reduction activity with a CO generation rate of 10.2 μmol g-1 h-1 and a selectivity of 100%. The mechanism study indicates that the Z-type heterojunction formed between NiO and Bi2O3 promotes the separation of photogenerated carriers and enhances the photocatalytic effect.
