Abstract:
In this perspective, we examine the cosolute-induced changes in the properties of the aqueous solution of block copolymers and their micellar characteristic. Owing to selective interactions of the cosolute with distinct domains of the block copolymer, alterations were observed in both the physical properties and water dynamics. However, the molecular mechanism of the cosolute in explaining its mechanistic properties is controversial. The modulations observed in the water dynamics of a copolymeric micelle are better explained as a cosolute effect. We extend our work to investigate more thoroughly the understanding between superchaotropic anions and nonionic soft materials analyzed through spectroscopy. In the future, more studies are required by taking a variety of superchaotropic nanoions to establish the structure properties relation between the nanoion with fluorophore and block copolymer solution.
