Eliminating the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) requirement in physician assistant (PA) programs may increase admissions for underrepresented in medicine (URiM) students, first-generation college students, and those from economically disadvantaged (ED) backgrounds. This change supports greater diversity in PA education.
