Background:

Tobacco processing involves exposure to various chemicals.
Understanding the health impact on workers is crucial for prevention.

Purpose of the Study:

To investigate occupational health problems in tobacco processing workers.
To identify potential causes of reported symptoms.

Main Methods:

A study was conducted on 100 tobacco processing workers.
Symptoms, nicotine/cotinine excretion rates, biochemical parameters, and electrocardiographic findings were assessed.

Main Results:

69 exposed workers reported symptoms such as vomiting, giddiness, and headache.
