Eighteen diarylheptanoids, including two new compounds kwangsiline A (1), kwangsipyran A (5), and sixteen known ones (2 - 4, 6 - 18) were obtained from Curcuma kwangsiensis rhizomes. Through the comprehensive analyses of spectroscopic information and quantum chemical ECD calculation result led to the final determination of these compounds' structural characteristics. Kwangsipyran A (5) is the fourth epoxy diarylheptanoid with a tetrahydropyran moiety identified in C. kwangsiensis. The anticoagulant and anti-inflammatory effects of compounds 3 and 8 were assessed using a TNF-α stimulated HUVECs model. They could lower the mRNA levels of F2, F7, and F10, and elevate the mRNA level of AT3, exhibiting moderate anticoagulant activity. Furthermore, they also displayed anti-inflammatory effect by reducing the mRNA levels of COX-2, IL-6, and iNOS.
