A novel, efficient multicomponent strategy for constructing tetrasubstituted alkenes bearing both C(sp2)-S and C(sp2)-N bonds has been developed, utilizing Tf2O-mediated activation of 1,3-diketones and featuring high stereoselectivity and broad substrate compatibility.
