    Summary

    Somatic depressive symptoms (SDS) strongly predict endothelial dysfunction (ED) in healthy adults, even more than traditional risk factors. Assessing SDS may help identify individuals at high risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD).

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the association between Somatic Depressive Symptoms (SDS) and endothelial function.

    • This highlights the importance of considering somatic aspects of depression in cardiovascular risk assessment.
