Abstract:
A cyano-functionalized π-bridge integrated into DPP-TCBD nanoparticles exhibits aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristics, facilitating efficient nonradiative decay and achieving a notable 43% photothermal conversion efficiency along with NIR-II fluorescence emission. This leads to effective photothermal therapy, demonstrating a novel strategy for designing organic photothermal agents.
