Telomere Length in Young Patients: Relationship With Metabolic Syndrome and Its Components

Young patients with metabolic syndrome (MS) have shorter leukocyte telomere length. This study found associations between shorter telomeres and MS components like dyslipidemia, suggesting a link to premature aging.
