Summary

Endoscopic nipple- and skin-sparing mastectomy (eNSM) is a safe and effective procedure for high-risk patients with genetic mutations. This approach offers oncologic safety and high patient satisfaction with no reported complications or recurrences in our study.

Area of Science:

  • Oncology
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Genetics

Background:

  • Patients with germline mutations (BRCA1, BRCA2, CHEK2, MUTYH) face increased breast cancer risk.
