Summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and American Joint Committee on Cancer 8th edition (AJCC8) staging systems show similar performance in predicting poor outcomes for non-head and neck cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas (non-HNCSCCs). While specificity and negative predictive values were high, sensitivity and positive predictive values were low, indicating a need for improved prognostication.
