Abstract:
We present a genome assembly from an individual male Idaea dimidiata (the Single-dotted Wave; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence is 422.6 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 20 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 17.04 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 18,351 protein coding genes.
