A 5-year screening interval for CT colonography (CTC) is appropriate for colorectal cancer (CRC) detection. CTC may lead to earlier diagnosis compared to biennial fecal immunochemical tests (FITs), with similar CRC incidence rates but higher advanced adenoma detection.
