Case:
An 11-year-old girl presented with bilateral elbow dislocations and medial epicondyle fractures following an attempted back handspring. Both elbows were reduced in the emergency department, but the left elbow had intra-articular entrapment of the medial epicondyle requiring extraction, followed by bilateral screw fixation. At 3 months, she lacked 5 degrees of right elbow extension which later resolved. She has full range of motion and returned to all activities.
Conclusion:
To the best of our knowledge, there are only 3 reported cases of pediatric bilateral elbow dislocations with medial epicondyle fractures, with our case being 1 of the youngest.
