This approach reduces the need for additional procedures typically associated with conventional or digital scanning techniques while maintaining accuracy. By using the patient's functioning interim restoration as pick-up impression copings, this procedure directly transfers critical information about the vertical dimension of occlusion, occlusal relationship, and soft tissue contour in a single appointment.
