Summary

The Timed Up and Go (TUG) test is a valid and reliable tool for assessing functional mobility in patients with haemophilia (PwH). The haemophilia joint health score (HJHS) is the primary predictor of TUG performance in this population.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To determine the validity, reliability, standard error of measurement (SEM), and minimal detectable change (MDC) of the TUG test in PwH.
  • To identify predictors of TUG test performance in adult PwH.

  • The TUG test is suitable for evaluating mobility in PwH, with HJHS being a key predictive factor.
