Abstract:
A metalloporphyrin-based COF, NiTAPP-DMTA, was in situ grown on carbon nanotubes to give a Ni-COF/50%CNT composite for oxygen evolution. The composite achieved a low overpotential of 369 mV at 10 mA cm-2 and exceptional 500-hour durability, attributed to the synergistic interplay of the Ni active sites in the COF and the conductive CNT matrix. This study demonstrates a practical strategy for enhancing COF-based electrocatalysts in water splitting.
