Abstract:
A protein-radical-oxidation targeting enediyne chimera (PROTEC) comprising an enediyne warhead and a protein-targeting moiety was developed for the selective degradation of a tumor-associated protein. PROTEC operates by forming a binary complex with the protein of interest and inducing oxidative protein degradation by the radical species generated from the cycloaromatization of the enediyne moiety.
