Folate receptor β (FR-β) imaging can detect active myocardial inflammation in experimental autoimmune myocarditis (EAM). The novel tracer [18F]-SFB-FOL shows comparable performance to [18F]-FOL in identifying inflammation via FR-β-positive macrophages.
