Abstract:
Developing efficient hydrogen evolution electrocatalysts is crucial for green hydrogen production, which plays an important role in a zero-carbon society. Herein, ultrafine NiIr nanoclusters confined in hollow mesoporous carbon were synthesized, achieving high mass activity of 1.64 A mg-1 at -0.05 V vs. RHE and excellent durability over 120 h at -0.056 V vs. RHE for alkaline hydrogen evolution.
