Abstract:
A practical and general method for the N-difluoroacetylation of sulfoximines using TFEDMA is described. The reaction tolerates diverse functional groups and delivers versatile intermediates for N-difluoroethyl and N-tetrafluoroethyl derivatives. This PFAS-conscious approach enables efficient incorporation of nitrogen-fluoro functional motifs into bioactive frameworks, advancing both synthetic utility and sustainable fluorine chemistry.
