- Research focus shifted from basic sciences to clinical and environmental aspects, with low emphasis on AMR and One Health.

- Greater public sector involvement and expanded collaborations are needed.
- Increased focus on antimicrobial resistance and the One Health approach is essential.
- Future research should assess quality and broaden data sources for a comprehensive understanding.
