This study addresses the control challenge associated with flapping-wing micro aerial vehicles (FWMAVs) with predetermined performance indicators. We concentrate on formulating a viable, model-based control methodology that accounts for actuator failures and meets prescribed performance specifications, ensuring that the tracking error converges to a prescribed bound within a finite time. A barrier Lyapunov function constrains the flight state within prescribed performance specifications, while the Nussbaum function addresses time-varying actuator failures. Utilizing Lyapunov stability theory, we analyze the system's stability. Simulations validate the proposed approach for FWMAVs, demonstrating robust trajectory tracking under actuator faults while satisfying the prescribed performance.
