Abstract:
Concomitant pectoralis major ruptures and posterior labral tears are rare; however, these injuries can occur in young athletes after high-energy impact-related trauma to the shoulder. Although open pectoralis major repair and arthroscopic posterior capsular labral repair are relatively common and well-described surgical procedures, it is rare to perform both procedures in the same surgical setting. The purpose of this report is to describe a technique for performing pectoralis major repair and posterior labral repair in the same surgical setting.
