The dimensionality of organic-inorganic metal halides is a key factor that exerts a significant influence on their emission properties, notably the resulting luminescence color. This study synthesized 1D and 0D crystals through modified feed composition and halogen substitution. The resulting materials were successfully demonstrated in anti-counterfeiting applications.
