Racial differences in the associations between prenatal exposure to environmental phenol mixtures and preterm birth

Prenatal exposure to a mixture of environmental phenols (EPs) was linked to increased preterm birth (PTB) risk in Black mothers, but not White mothers. Individual EPs showed varied associations, with BP-3 and triclosan being key mixture components.
