Summary

Multiple sclerosis (MS) patients exhibit impaired social memory, specifically recalling individuals, despite intact social navigation abilities. Brain imaging reveals this deficit is linked to reduced precuneus/posterior cingulate cortex volume and white matter abnormalities.
