Background:

Acute leukaemia poses significant challenges for elderly patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Optimizing patient care and outcomes requires tailored nursing interventions.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the impact of continuous nursing interventions on elderly patients receiving acute leukaemia chemotherapy.
To assess improvements in psychological state, treatment compliance, and quality of life.

Main Methods:

A prospective randomized controlled trial involving 80 elderly acute leukaemia patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Patients were assigned to either continuous nursing (Group A) or conventional nursing (Group B).
Key outcomes including psychological state, compliance, adverse reactions, and quality of life were measured pre- and post-intervention.

Main Results:

Continuous nursing group (A) demonstrated significantly lower anxiety and depression scores compared to the control group (B).
Enhanced compliance in medication coordination, fluid management, and rest patterns was observed in Group A.
The continuous nursing group experienced a lower incidence of adverse reactions and reported higher quality of life scores.

Conclusions:

Continuous nursing is effective in improving the psychological status of elderly leukaemia patients undergoing chemotherapy.
This nursing model enhances patient compliance and reduces adverse events, ultimately improving quality of life.
