Approaches to learning in pre-medicine: a multi-university mixed-methods study

Learners commonly adopt deep or strategic learning approaches, with strategic methods showing a slight correlation with academic success. Educational programs should focus on teaching self-regulated study skills rather than enforcing a single ideal learning style.
