Abstract:
We report the discovery and synthesis of MOXI-214, a manganese-based metal-organic framework (MOF) with high selectivity for CO2 adsorption. Oxalate ligands were generated by in situ ligand evolution from sodium ascorbate and incorporated into the framework under aqueous conditions. High-throughput experimentation enabled scalable production and the discovery of structural isomorphs.
