Abstract:
A TrxR2-targeted photosensitizer (HCCU) was developed for mitochondrial protein-targeted photodynamic degradation and pyroptosis activation. Upon laser irradiation, HCCU-generated ROS efficiently degraded mitochondrial TrxR2, inducing mitochondrial collapse and activating Caspase-3/GSDME-mediated tumor pyroptosis.
