Fluid removal improves muscle performance and weakness in critically ill patients: a pilot study

Ultrafiltration (UF) in critically ill patients undergoing continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) was associated with improved muscle strength and changes in muscle ultrasound parameters. These findings suggest a link between fluid balance and muscle health in critical care.
