Precisely regulating the product distribution to directly synthesize the target products with the desired compositions is of great significance for heterogeneous catalysis. However, due to the product orientation, it is difficult to achieve this purpose through a single catalytic component. Herein, we report a dual-zeolite-regulation strategy that simultaneously employs two high-selective zeolites with different product tendencies for CO2 hydrogenation. By changing the configuration composition of the two zeolites, the desired components in the target products can be freely switched. Taking liquefied petroleum gas as an example, a wide-range adjustment of propane/butane ratios is successfully achieved between 0.53 and 4.31 under high overall selectivity. The dual-zeolite regulation strategy can simplify the separation steps and shorten the production time, thus significantly reducing the total cost. Furthermore, machine-learning models are constructed with a low mean-square error (MSE) based on the reaction results, enabling the users to better predict and customize the required product composition.

Reduction of Alkenes: Asymmetric Catalytic Hydrogenation
The metal catalyst used can be either heterogeneous or homogeneous. When hydrogenation of an alkene generates a chiral center, a pair of enantiomeric products is expected to form. However, an enantiomeric excess of one of the products can be facilitated using an enantioselective reaction or an...

Metals like palladium, platinum, and nickel are commonly used in their solid forms — fine powder on an inert surface. As these catalysts remain insoluble in the reaction mixture, they are referred to as heterogeneous catalysts.
