Abstract
Summary:
The periareolar incision offers advantages in breast augmentation and is commonly used. A disadvantage is the potential for postoperative infra-areolar indentation, especially in cases where this incision is reused for secondary surgery or in patients with thin periareolar breast tissue. This article describes techniques for correcting periareolar incision deformity with the use of acellular dermal matrix.
