Abstract:
We designed and synthesized (±)-stellettin analogs featuring an isoxazoline ring. The key synthetic steps included the Meyer-Schuster rearrangement, an intramolecular nitrile oxide cycloaddition to create tetracyclic isoxazolines, and the incorporation of various side chains using the Wittig reaction.
