Phenobarbital for Refractory Behavioral Disturbances in Anti-NMDAR and HSV Encephalitis: A Case Report

Oral phenobarbital effectively managed severe behavioral disturbances in a patient with anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis and herpes simplex virus (HSV) encephalitis. This treatment improved agitation, insomnia, and aggression without adverse effects.
