Abstract:
1,4-Diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) has been demonstrated to function as an effective catalytic electron donor in electron donor-acceptor (EDA) complex-mediated difluoroalkylation reaction. The protocol enables the construction of structurally complex difluorinated polycyclic indoline derivatives with exceptional diastereoselectivity (dr >20:1) via an intramolecular 1,5-hydrogen atom transfer (1,5-HAT) process.
