Active hexose correlated compound (AHCC) improved gut health in rats with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). AHCC supplementation modulated gut bacteria, enhanced intestinal barrier function, and reduced inflammation, offering a potential therapeutic strategy for NAFLD.
