Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can lead to antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and catastrophic APS (CAPS), causing severe thrombotic events. This case of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) with stroke and Libman-Sacks endocarditis highlights the need for APS evaluation and shows that prompt anticoagulation and immunosuppressive therapy are crucial in such cases.
